Carlos Martinez
Carlos is a researcher and experimenter dedicated to improving people's lives through better product and service experiences. Currently, at Telos Labs, he is helping SaverLife discover and develop a new AI Financial Coach to create more personalized and impactful financial empowerment experiences for its members.
Carlos holds a master’s degree in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University, where he explored the intersections and mutual influences between technology and society.
His career spans leadership roles at startups like Flat.mx (now Clau), a proptech innovating the home-selling experience in Mexico, and Bamba, an insurtech designed for low-income workers. Additionally, Carlos has worked with global consultancies such as IDEO, INSITUM (now Accenture), and Ideograma, collaborating across industries like finance, telecommunications, and transportation.
Passionate about teaching and mentoring, Carlos enjoys guiding young designers and teaching systems thinking and design to foster the next generation of innovators. Outside of work, he is a strong advocate for safer mobility and an active urban cyclist and marathon runner.
